N Scale Locomotives

I am a fan of both the Chicago & Northwestern (C&NW) and the Missouri Pacific (MoPac). Below is a list of N Scale Locomotives that could be used on a fictional co-operated switching railroad between C&NW and MoPac. I need to do more research to determine if this is do able or not, but I like the idea at least.

Life Like SW8 CNW
Life Like C424 CNW
Life Like GP18 CNW
Life Like GP18 MoPac
Life Like RS2 MoPac
Atlas RS3 CNW
Atlas R11 MoPac
Atlas GP7 MoPac
Atlas GP9 CNW
Atlas SD9 CNW

These are just the models I was able to find. Are there others available?

Layout Room & Benchwork

The layout will eventually be built in the 3rd bedroom of my house. The room is heated, carpeted and has already been painted a light blue. Every wall has at least one electrical outlet that can be used.

The room it self is roughly 8'10" x 12'4" big. On three of the four room walls there is some type of obstruction (entry door, window, closet). At least the wall free from obstruction is the long 12'4" side.

My thought on the bench work is to build 7 identical modules that can be taken apart for moving if required. Each module would be 3' long x 2' deep.

Rough Drawing (Not to Scale):

Blog Layout

Not really happy with the blog layout, but just one of many things that need to be done.

The Start - N Scale Project

This is where is all starts. I do not have a timeline or even know exactly where the project will take me. However, I do have a rough idea of what I am looking for in the end result. There are things that will change as the project develops, but for now I will focus on the items that will not and develop a plan from there. This will be a great learning experience and I hope to have input from others as I go forward with my N Scale Project.
