Hobby Cabinet

Here is a picture of a cabinet I have turned into my hobby cabinet.  The nice thing about this cabinet is I can close the doors and everything hobby related is out of view.

The top shelf contains most of the tools needed (Paint Brushes, Files, Knives, etc).  Next to the tool bin is a bin with paints and misc paint containers.  Next to that is the airbrush set I purchased, a Paasche VLS.

The middle shelf contains a model paints bin, filled with scrap and odds/extras, that can be used for future project.  There is room for more parts should the collection grow, as I expect it will.  Then there are two model project kits: Modern Engine House (N-Scale) from Micro Engineering and something called Green Max Economy Assort 801.  Last on the shelf is a 3M Paint Project Air Respirator.

The bottom shelf contains my inventory of styrene sheet and a few packages of styrene rod/shapes.  On the right is a bin with my N scale rolling stock and engines.

The two bottom drawers are empty currently.

  1. nice job staying organized from the start. I keep my things in various plastic containers too, and when I get too many I know it's time to start thinning the collection.
